The corn header Mainero MDD-100 utilizes a patented double, offset gathering chain design which provides a wide V-shape intake area allowing misaligned or off-row corn stalks to be gently fed into the row-units.

Longer, Narrower, Stainless steel snouts mounted farther back than a conventional corn head allow the gathering chains to work further ahead creating a broad entry channel for the misaligned corn stalks, when cutting off-row or picking up downed corn.

Patented “open” side snout design allows for up to 7 inches of misalignment in row-units, this open design raises the snout-to-stalk contact point allowing misalignment of up to 10 inches while still effectively bringing plants into the row-units.

With the row-spacing being set on true 20 inch, it is not a problem to travel in the same direction as the planted rows in 15, 20, or 30-inch spacing when harvesting end rows or terraced ground.

By simply centering a marked snout according to the head size, the result will be a maximum misaligned of just 5 inches from the center of the knife rolls.

In addition to these 5 inches of misalignment there is an additional 5 inches of offset available before the stalk enters the next row-unit.

All these features add up to one of the most versatile corn heads on the market.

Mainero corn heads come with a 1 year parts/labour warranty and are distributed in the USA and Canada by GBC Distributors.
