Raussendorf combined a forage harvester with a windrower head

The special development is an adaptation for the hemp production. It combines a Fendt forage harvester with a MacDon head.

The German company Raussendorf made a new machine by combining a Fendt forage harvester and a MacDon windrower head.

It was an special development focused on hemp harvesting needs.

In order to do so, Raussendorf modified a Katana forage harvester and added a D120 head to the rear of the combine.

The device allows to work with the head up to 3,50 meters high.

While the cutting head of the Fendt chopper cuts the lower part of the plants, the MacDon head takes care of the upper part of the hemp, from where the fibres are obtained.
