The result marked the third consecutive annual decline in the Argentine market, following the post-pandemic recovery cycle that peaked in 2022.

In value terms, tractor sales in Argentina totaled an estimated USD 726.3 million in 2025, down 11.8% from the record USD 823.5 million reported in 2024.
Despite the annual decline, the market remained above historical averages, reflecting the growing weight of higher-horsepower equipment and rising machinery prices in recent years.
Mid- and high-horsepower tractors dominated the market
Tractors in the 131–190 HP range remained the largest segment of the Argentine market in 2025, accounting for 25.7% of total registrations.
The 191–240 HP category followed with a 22.1% share, while tractors between 51 and 90 HP represented 19.9% of total sales.
Higher-horsepower models above 240 HP also maintained a relevant presence, reflecting the importance of large-scale grain farming operations in Argentina.
Market Context
The Argentine tractor market remained heavily concentrated among major international manufacturers in 2025.
John Deere led the market with a 38.7% share, followed by New Holland (17.9%) and Case IH (13.3%).
Domestic manufacturer Pauny ranked fourth with a 9.9% share, ahead of Massey Ferguson and Valtra, both with 5.6%.
