Czech Tractor Registrations Fell 31.4% in 2025
Annual registrations totaled 1,674 units, marking the lowest level recorded in the past decade and extending the market downturn for the fourth consecutive year.

The Czech tractor market continued its downward trend in 2025, joining the broader decline reported across most major European markets.
According to data released by the Association of Agricultural Machinery Importers (SDZT), based on official vehicle registration records from the Czech Ministry of Transport, total tractor registrations reached 1,674 units during the year, down 31.4% from 2,442 units reported in 2024.
The result marked the weakest annual performance of the last decade and extended the market downturn to four consecutive years of declining sales.

The market fell to half of its 2022 peak
After reaching record levels above 3,300 annual registrations in 2021 and 2022, the Czech tractor market entered a sharp contraction cycle.
Between 2022 and 2025, annual registrations declined by more than 50%, reflecting the broader slowdown affecting agricultural machinery demand across Europe.
The 2025 result represented the lowest annual registration volume recorded in at least ten years.
Market Context
John Deere remained the leading tractor brand in the Czech Republic in 2025, accounting for approximately 20% of total registrations.
Fendt and Case IH followed with market shares close to 11%, while New Holland represented roughly 10% of the market.
The domestic manufacturer Zetor also maintained a relevant position within the Czech market.
According to the latest available data for tractors above 50 HP (2024), Massey Ferguson, Claas, Kubota and Deutz-Fahr also ranked among the leading brands in the country.
