Jenc Develops World’s Widest Spray Boom with 70-Meter Aluminum Design
Brazilian manufacturer Jenc has developed a 70-meter aluminum spray boom, currently the widest in the world. The product has already been integrated into the Nexat multifunctional platform used in the Brazilian market.

Brazil-based Jenc has reached a new milestone in spray boom engineering with the development of a 70-meter-wide aluminum model designed for high-capacity spraying operations.
The company, headquartered in the State of Bahia, said the project was developed under the concept of increasing operational capacity without excessively raising structural mass.
The boom has already been adopted by the Nexat multifunctional platform, which includes a spraying configuration for large-scale farming operations.
Engineering Challenges
According to Jenc, designing a 70-meter boom required extensive analysis of:
Bending, torsion and oscillation forces
Stress loads on articulation points
Stability system requirements
The use of aluminum allowed the company to reduce structural weight compared with conventional boom materials.
That reduction in mass enables wider working widths while maintaining machine operability and field performance.
The development reflects the industry’s ongoing push toward higher field efficiency and greater operational capacity in large-scale crop production systems.
