John Deere acquired Harvest Profit, a company specialized in the development of software for agricultural profitability.

The company, based in North Dakota (United States), provides tools that allow «predicting and measuring profitability on a field-by-field basis», explains Lane Arthur, John Deere’s Vice President of Data, Applications and Analysis.

Harvest Profit is recognized for its expertise in developing software for the evaluation of production costs and revenues.

With the purchase, the company’s current software offering is incorporated into the John Deere Operations Center.
