John Deere Introduces 38,700-Liter Air Cart, One of the Largest Globally
John Deere has unveiled the C1100T air cart with a total capacity of 38,700 liters, positioning it among the largest pneumatic seeding carts available globally. The model features four independent tanks for seeds and fertilizers and several upgrades aimed at improving loading efficiency and product flow, targeting large-scale farming operations.

John Deere has expanded its lineup of pneumatic seeding and fertilizing systems with the launch of the C1100T air cart, a high-capacity model offering 38,700 liters of total volume.
The new unit, introduced in the United States, features four independent tanks for seeds and fertilizers, positioning it among the largest air carts currently available on the global market.
The C1100T becomes the flagship model in John Deere’s air cart portfolio, which now includes 12 configurations ranging from 12,300 to 38,700 liters.
Key Specifications
Total capacity: 38,700 liters
Number of tanks: Four independent compartments
Primary tank capacities: 11,500 liters, 5,500 liters, and 18,063 liters
Additional tank: Expanded small tank with 3,700 liters
Technical Features
Beyond its large capacity, the C1100T incorporates several design upgrades aimed at improving logistics and filling efficiency.
Tank configuration
The cart includes three main product tanks with capacities of 11,500, 5,500, and 18,063 liters, complemented by a 3,700-liter auxiliary tank, enabling flexible seed and fertilizer combinations.
EZ Lift loading system
The new air cart integrates an EZ Lift system, designed to raise product bags directly from a truck bed or from ground level, simplifying loading operations.
High-capacity conveyor
The machine also features a longer, higher-capacity conveyor belt to improve filling speed and efficiency.
Improved conveyor geometry
The conveyor has been extended and widened, reducing the operating angle and preventing material from sliding backward — an issue observed in steeper conveyor configurations used in earlier systems.
Market Position
With nearly 39 cubic meters of capacity, the C1100T targets large-scale farming operations that require high productivity and fewer refill stops during seeding or fertilization campaigns.
The model reinforces the industry trend toward higher-capacity pneumatic systems designed to maximize field efficiency in broadacre cropping systems.
