John Deere tests its autonomous sprayer in Europe

It is lighter than a traditional sprayer, which reduces soil compaction and improve its use in soft soils.

John Deere is already testing in Europe the robot sprayer that presented in 2019.

The goal of this trials is to evaluate in real work conditions the perfomance of the equipment and its advantages over conventional models.

For the moment, the autonomous sprayer is lighter than a traditional self-propelled sprayer, which allows it to work in areas that have received rain, with minimal soil compaction effect.

Four-wheel steering adds another versatility factor, as do the tracks, which minimize ground pressure.

The prototype includes a 560-litre spray tank and offers a high ground clearance of 1.9m, which allows it to operate in advanced crops.
