SaMASZ keeps growing in R&D

The company opened a second room at its Research and Development Centre in Zabłudów (Poland). It will allow them to work on larger and more complex machines.

The Polish firm SaMASZ keeps growing with the addition of new technological resources.

It just inaugurated the second room of its Research and Development Centre in Zabłudów (Poland).

This incorporation adds 667 m2 to their infrastructure, which will allow them to work on larger and more complex machine prototypes.

Evolution

SaMASZ’s project started in 2020 and is meant to be completed by 2028, with a total investment of 5 million euros.

Within its infrastructure, it has the equipment of the R&D hall with seven machine tools which are meant to develop new technologies and prototypes, as well as two research stations.

It includes the development of computer infrastructure to support modelling and simulation of technological processes using Digital Twin as well. All of this is part of the Superfabryka 4.0 research programme.

The SaMASZ Research and Development Center is one of the key components of the company. It employs more than 70 people, including 30 designers.

The company is currently developing more than 20 new machine projects, and keeps more than 300 existing machines up to date.

SaMASZ is one of the main machinery factories in Poland, with more than 700 employees and a commercial network of 120 dealers. It has subsidiaries in Russia and the United States, and exports its products to markets in the five continents, including Germany, Russia, the United States, Canada, Brazil, Paraguay, Chile, Uruguay, Australia, New Zealand, Korea and Japan.
