Unstoppable India: over 120,000 tractors sold in October

The tractor segment in the Indian market reached a record of 123,883 units sold. Companies are producing at full capacity.

India continues to increase its sales of tractors, with an impact on manufacturing volumes.

In October, 123,883 units were sold (including the domestic market and exports), the highest monthly level in the last three years.

The amount contrasts, for example, with the 14,872 tractors sold during the first half of 2020 in Germany, the main European market for this type of equipment.

In October, also grew the tractor production in India, with 108,873 units manufactured, the highest level in the last 34 months.
