Unverferth Launches 111,000-Liter Brent 3298 Avalanche Grain Cart
The U.S. manufacturer expands the upper limits of chaser bin capacity with a high-output unloading system and tracked undercarriage for improved field performance.

Unverferth has introduced the Brent 3298 Avalanche, a grain cart with a capacity of 111,000 liters, positioning it as the largest chaser bin in its category, excluding stationary mother bins used for field-edge logistics.
The model targets large-scale harvesting operations requiring high unloading speed and efficient grain transfer from combines.
Key Figures
Capacity: 111,000 liters
Unloading rate: Up to 35,000 liters per minute
Unloading system: Dual pivoting auger
Undercarriage: Tracked system
High-Speed Unloading System
The Brent 3298 Avalanche features a high-capacity unloading system designed to minimize combine downtime. Its dual pivoting auger enables grain discharge on either side of the machine, increasing operational flexibility in the field.
The system supports unloading rates of up to 35,000 liters per minute, placing it among the fastest in the segment.
Hydraulic Operation
All unloading functions are managed through five hydraulic control points, allowing operators to:
Fold and unfold the auger
Adjust vertical positioning (up/down pivot)
Open and close 16-inch flow gates
This configuration is designed to streamline operation and reduce handling time during harvest.
Tracked Undercarriage
The machine is equipped with a tracked system aimed at improving flotation and reducing soil compaction.
Key features include:
Track width: 127 cm
Ground contact area: 8.40 m²
Suspension: Rubber-dampened system
Mobility: Patented front/rear and lateral oscillation
Market Context
The Brent 3298 Avalanche reflects the ongoing trend toward higher-capacity and higher-throughput grain carts in global markets. As harvesting equipment increases in productivity, matching grain logistics capacity has become critical to maintaining operational efficiency.
Outlook
With its combination of large capacity, rapid unloading, and advanced mobility system, the Brent 3298 Avalanche sets a benchmark in the chaser bin segment. It also highlights the growing demand for equipment capable of supporting high-output harvesting systems in large-scale farming operations.
