Coolamon: Australia’s Leader in High-Capacity Grain Carts
The Australian manufacturer has established itself as a global benchmark in large-capacity grain handling equipment. Its latest launch, a 148,800-liter chaser bin, is the largest of its kind worldwide.

Coolamon is an agricultural equipment manufacturer based in New South Wales, Australia, specializing in grain handling solutions.
Founded in 1972, the company focuses on the development of mother bins, chaser bins (grain carts), and fertilizer spreaders.
Mother Bins
In recent years, Coolamon has positioned itself as a global leader in the mother bin segment—large-capacity units used as logistical buffers to improve harvest efficiency.
Its portfolio includes multiple models, notably the CMB200T, which offers:
240,000-liter capacity (200 tonnes)
Eight-axle chassis
High-performance unloading system
Chaser Bins
Coolamon also offers a full range of chaser bins, with capacities starting at 30,700 liters (24 tonnes).
The latest addition is the 120T model, featuring:
148,800-liter capacity (120 tonnes)
The largest chaser bin currently available worldwide
High-Capacity Performance
The Coolamon 120T operates on a four-axle chassis and is equipped with an ultra-high-speed unloading system capable of transferring nearly 68,000 liters per minute.
At this rate, the unit can fully unload in just over two minutes, reinforcing its position at the top end of the high-capacity grain cart segment.
