20 European brands landing in South America

Companies from Germany, Italy, France, Spain and Poland, among other countries, arrive in the region seeking partners to do new business.

For international companies of agricultural machinery, the «American dream» also has a chapter in the South of the continent.

In the case of European companies, in the last few years about 20 brands of well-known trajectory landed in the region.

The list includes firms from Germany, Italy, Spain, France and Poland, among other countries.

Some firms are looking for industrial partners to manufacture in the region. Others are focusing in developing sales agents.

They all share a common denominator: the search for local partners to do business in the region, which creates an opportunity for local dealers and manufacturers willing to make partnership arrangements.

The following is a review of 20 European brands that landed in South America.

Aguirre (Spain). It won a place in the Uruguayan market with its line of seeders.

It also produces spreaders and sprayers.

Amazone (Germany). It operates in Argentina since 2017, through Capei

It is also present in Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, Peru and Venezuela.

Antonio Carraro (Italy). He partnered the company Tramontini to assemble special tractors for mountainous regions in Brazil.

It also has a subsidiary in Argentina, called Carraro Argentina.

APV (Austria). Commercializes in Argentina the Spin line of pneumatic fertilizer seeders, through Yomel

It is also present in Uruguay.

Arcusin (Spain). It distributes its forage equipment in Argentina through El Gauchito.

 

Fimaks (Turkey). It landed in Uruguay with his line of mixers and manure spreaders. 

It also distributes its products in Mexico.

Gaspardo (Italy). The company, part of the Maschio Gaspardo group, sells its seeders through representatives in Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Paraguay and Uruguay.

Since november 2020, is partner of New Holland.

Grimme (Germany). It commercializes its equipment in Argentina through Capei.

It also has distributors in Uruguay, Chile, Brazil, Peru and Colombia.

Irum (Romania). It landed in the Chilean market, through the concessionaire Maestranza Metalfor

It also has representation in Brazil, Uruguay and Colombia.

Lemken (Germany). It was inserted in the Argentinean market by Gauss Maquinarias

It also has commercial agents in Chile and Ecuador.

Monosem (France). This seed drill brand controlled by John Deere has a commercial distributor in Chile.

It also has a subsidiary in the United States (Monosem Inc.), located in Kansas City.

Özdöken (Turkey). It is positioned in the region with its line of soil preparation equipment. 

It is already working in Argentina and Uruguay.

Rauch (Germany). It distributes its line of fertilizers in Chile, through the concessionaire Ceres.

It also produces seeders and snow equipment.

Remolques Hermanos García (Spain). It already has commercial partners in Uruguay and is projected towards other countries in the region.

It produces trailers, hoppers and spreaders.

Rocha (Portugal). It sells its fertilizers in Argentina through the Verion network.

Among its products are spreaders, sprayers and shredders.

SaMASZ (Poland). It has commercial representation in Paraguay, Uruguay and Chile. 

It is now planning an expansion in Argentina, with the incorporation of sales agents for its lines of forage equipment.

Sulky (France). It commercializes its fertilizers in Argentina, through Cristante Hnos

In Brazil, it has a partnership agreement with Jacto.

Tatoma (Spain). It operates in the region through its commercial presence in Paraguay. 

After the closing of DASA, it is looking for a partner to grow in Argentina.

Tenías (Spain). It sells its front shovels in Argentina and Uruguay, among other markets in the region.

It also produces ploughs and harvesters.

Väderstad (Sweden). It landed with its lines of seeders in Chile through the dealer Toroyo

It is also present in Paraguay.
